Expert Evaluation

Goal: A low-cost appraisal of the user interface of a given product or system, with respect to its usability, pointing out major problems and areas of concern.

Resources: One cognitive engineer, 1-2 weeks, depending upon the complexity of the evaluation.

Deliverable: A report that contains a set of design recommendations.
